Introduction to Coaching

Cricket ACT now offers an Introduction to Coaching Course to fit in with the ACT High School Curriculums for years 10-12

The program involves three parts:

• Two practical coaching sessions with High School students coordinated by Cricket ACT staff
• Online interactive module
• High schools coordinate coaching clinics with neighbouring primary school

The course has an emphasis on the following

1. Group Leadership
2. Management
3. Organisational skills
4. Communication techniques
5. Key coaching principals.   
6. Increased confidence and competence in your coaching ability

What do the students get?

• Certificate of attainment
• Cricket coaching resources.

The program also encourages neighbouring senior and junior schools to build partnerships that ensure maximum benefit for both schools.
