This special day is expected to attract over 200 disabled school children from throughout the ACT to enjoy a variety of sports in one convenient location. Western District UC 1st Grade Champions
Wests/UC defeated Tuggeranong Valley this evening here at Manuka Oval by one wicket. In a nail biting finish, Ryan Carters carried his bat for 146 and hit the winning runs as the shadows stretched across the ground. Tuggeranong had a late revival thanks to left arm quick Ash Perera however Andrew Appeldorff and Ryan Carters held it together to score the final six runs for victory.
Carters was awarded the Greg Irvine medal for man of the match. In his acceptance speech he thanked his team mates, in particular his captain, Andrew Jones, who is believed to be retiring after a number of years as both a player and skipper in 1st grade.

Tuggeranong Go Back-To-Back in the Lynne O'Meara Premiership
Defending premiers Tuggeranong Valley have taken out the final of the Lynne O'Meara Premiership at Manuka Oval on Sunday. Set 118 for victory Tuggeranong scraped in with 1 wicket to spare.
